PWA Women's News
We had it on February 19. It was a great success. So far, we collected $741.00; however, we would like
to add to the total. If you would still like to give a donation, it is not too late. Just mark the donation
for the Presbyterian Women’s Heifer Project and we will be glad to include it.
On
February 20,
some of the women attended the annual gathering in Sun City, Florida.
They
were able to meet with other Presbyterian Women and had a great time.
Our
bible study is moving along. Joshua is a difficult book of the bible and
there seems to be a
lot of interesting thoughts and decisions.
March 6
is the Craft Bazaar. We have been making some interesting items to sell.
Please come and join us.
It will start at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm.
April 26, 27 and 28 will be our annual retreat at Day Springs in Ellenton.
We are looking forward to this retreat.
This will give us a chance to catch
up with friends and to learn about our next bible study.
On
Project Day we have been working on items for the Bazaar. But after Bazaar,
we will be
working on other items for the nursing homes and Beth El.
On
Historian Day we have been collecting historical items of the Presbyterian
Women and will be
starting to put them in an Album.
That seems to be it for this time. We look forward to having all the women attend any or all of the events listed.
